Welcome to the Snoqualmie Mosque mobile application ("App") operated by Muslim Association of Snoqualmie Ridge (MASR) ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our App.

2. Description of Service

The Snoqualmie Mosque App provides Islamic services and community features including:

• Prayer times and Iqama schedules
• Qibla direction compass
• Event announcements and registration
• Community announcements
• Mosque information and contact details
• Push notifications for important updates
• Feedback and communication features

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update your information as necessary.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.3 Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

While we strive to provide accurate prayer times and religious information, we recommend verifying critical religious timings with local Islamic authorities. Prayer times are calculated using established Islamic methods but may require local adjustments.

5.2 Location-Based Services

Prayer times and Qibla direction depend on location data. Accuracy may vary based on device capabilities and geographic factors.

6. User-Generated Content

6.1 Content Submission

When you submit feedback, comments, or other content through the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, modify, and display such content for service improvement purposes.

6.2 Content Standards

All user content must be respectful, appropriate, and aligned with Islamic values and community standards. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these standards.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

8. Intellectual Property

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

9.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MASR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may integrate with third-party services (such as prayer time APIs and notification services). These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

11. Updates and Modifications

11.1 App Updates

We may release updates to improve functionality, security, or user experience. Some updates may be required for continued use of the App.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations shall survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of King County, Washington.
